    So, I've never played CoC before, I've mainly played CR and other gacha games, never a builder game like CoC. I'm aware that this is a game that takes quite a bit of time to upgrade stuff, so I'd like to know if there's incentive to start playing now or is it too late.

    I heard that the game has it's own version of a "battle pass" that costs $5 and it helps immensely. I can afford this with no problems, but I was wondering if there's any updated begginer guide I can follow that includes stuff on where to start, where to go, base layouts, etc...
