I am a near-max th10. When I first became th10, the other th10 clanmates in my clan recommended I try frozen witch. Even our best players said it's a great idea.

It's super easy to upgrade early on. The only things you need to upgrade from th9 are witch, freeze, wizard, and heal. It even works wonders with th9 leveled heal and wizards.

Army: 14 witches, 4 healers, 4 wizards, 7 freezes, 1 heal, and 1 rage. A wall wrecker in the clan castle with 1 giant, 5 bowlers, and a poison.

For the attack:

Start by picking a point, a corner or side to attack on. That is where your wall wrecker will go, along with the main part of your attack. But first, the edges need to be set. Go about 5 buildings down from that point on each side and place 4 witches, with 2 healers. These are for funneling, as well as taking out most exterior buildings. Be sure to align them properly so they will stay on the outside, and not be drawn toward the middle.

After this, place the wall wrecker down at the point you chose earlier, with the remaining witches behind to clear out the buildings that are still outside of the walls (likely 5-7 buildings). Then place your heroes and witches behind where the wall wrecker was placed.

During this push into the middle of the base, use the poison from your clan castle on the opposing clan castle troops. Use freezes on any heavy-hitting defenses you need to in order to get the wall wrecker to the town hall. When the wall wrecker pops (whether it made it to the town hall or not), drop a heal and rage for the bowlers. The bowlers will shred the inside of the base. Ideally you would attack from the point furthest from the town hall, and your goal should be to get the wall wrecker to the town hall. Use any remaining freezes you may have for any threatening defenses that remain.

I have used this attack in war the entire time I've been th10, and it works wonders. I've even fully taken down some th11s in regular wars without even batting an eye.
