    Clashing skills will be tested, Wars will be won, and a new champion will emerge victorious: the Clash of Clans World Championship 2021 is here and the road to glory will soon begin! Eager to make your mark in Clash history? Then read on! Below you'll find the details of how we're doing the Qualifiers, stage breakdowns, new changes, and much, much more!

    Tournament Breakdown

    The road to the World Championship Finals will be broken down into 6 monthly seasons. Each monthly season will consist of 3 stages: Clan War Leagues, a Monthly Pre-Qualifier, and a Monthly Qualifier. Additionally, after the 6 monthly seasons, there will be a final Last Chance Qualifier to provide a final opportunity for teams to earn a Golden Ticket and secure a spot at the World Finals.

    Season Overview

    • Clan War League (CWL)
      Clan War League (CWL) is the first stage of each season during the first 11 days of each month. Clans who finish in Champion Leagues 1-3 are eligible to sign up to the Monthly Pre-Qualifier.
    • Monthly Pre-Qualifier.
      In the Monthly Pre-Qualifier (MPQ), teams of 5 compete in-app in a 2 day, single elimination competition until 6 teams remain. Those remaining 6 teams will be advancing to the Monthly Qualifier for that respective month. The MPQ takes place toward the middle-end of each season after the Clan War League and before the Monthly Qualifier - stay tuned for further details on the schedule coming soon!
    • Monthly Qualifier (MQ)
      The Monthly Qualifier is a 2 day, broadcasted event using a best-of-one (Bo1), double elimination format and occurring at the end of each season. A team that wins a Monthly Qualifier earns a Golden Ticket and a spot in the World Finals! Second place receives a Silver Ticket which qualifies them for the Last Chance Qualifier.

    Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ)
    The Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) takes place after all the Monthly Qualifiers have completed and consists of 6 Silver Ticket winners from the Monthly Qualifiers along with 4 Wildcard teams from external tournaments who battle in a series of bracketed single-elimination matches. The winner of each bracket advances to the World Finals.

    World Finals (WF)
    The final 8 teams compete for their share of the $1,000,000 prize pool and the World Champion of 2021 title!

    $1,000,000 Prize Pool

    Teams are competing for a $1,000,000 prize pool! Teams participating in the Monthly Qualifiers will also receive rewards based on their final placement in ranks 1-6 during each Qualifier.

    What's Different: 2020 VS. 2021

    We wanted to provide an opportunity for more players and clans to be able to compete in the World Championship - here is what's different!. This year, everyone needs a clan of at least 15 members to compete in the Clan War League in pursuit of getting promoted to at least Champion 3. They will then be able to form their roster of 5 players from their Clan. Even more, the Last Chance Qualifier is a new way in which teams are able to qualify for the World Finals through external tournaments!

    FAQs

    What are the minimal requirements to enter the tournament?

    Players must meet the minimum age requirement, have the highest Town Hall level and their accounts have to be in good standing, more about these requirements in the Supercell Terms of Service. Clans from Clan War League Champion 1-3 are eligible to participate in the Monthly Pre-Qualifier.

    Is there a cost/fee to enter?

    Nope! The competition is free to enter.

    How many players are required to make a team?

    Clan Leaders register a team of 5 clan members to participate in the Monthly Pre-Qualifier. The top 6 teams of the Pre-Qualifier move on to the MQ and the team is required to play with those same 5 clan members.

    What measures are taken to promote fair play in the Clash of Clans World Championship?

    Any player found to have engaged in or attempted to engage in any act that the Tournament Administration Team in its sole and absolute discretion, constitutes unfair play, will be subject to penalty or potential disqualification. Such penalties include a warning, negation of war results or loss of points, suspension, and/or disqualification. Please refer to the Supercell Terms of Service and Fair Play section for more information regarding fair play.

    Please note this is NOT an end all guide. This is a detailed guide to help beginners know what to look for and how to start in hybrid planning.

    The hybrid. It's big threats are poor pathing, air troops, and splash dmg. If the spread is too wide the defense will take it out and you won't be able to heal the troops. Your path should be about a heal spell's diameter (should be able to heal the entire group with one spell). As for the splash it is especially dangerous with multi inferno's and bomb towers. If your troops have dmg on them and that bomb tower goes off your group is done for, as is your attack. Same idea with the multi inferno towers, but more of a slow burn. If you don't heal thru the multi's your group will die off without you noticing. Single inferno's kinda suck, but for a hybrid they aren't so bad honestly. Lastly the air troops. If they are ground troops, sure they will hurt, but air will stop your attack dead in its tracks. You HAVE to handle that threat for this attack to succeed. More often than not it is best for your QC to handle it. Throw a poison at them, rage the queen and healers and you're good.

    Those are the threats. How you know if the base is right for a hybrid isn't as straightforward all the time, and sometimes you may have to think outside the box (pun intended). When looking at the base think about its threats, but more importantly think about its structure. Can you somehow cut a thin slice though the base (or around the base, the point is the thin, pathable slice part)? Notice how I've cut the base up. I just played around with it to see what worked. I also noticed down on the bottom there is a bomb tower. Since I could, I worked it to where the QC was there so it was no longer a threat. Same with the cc troops. As for the siege barracks and barb king it is best to put them on the side opposite the queen so as to set a deep funnel and path. It is best to use the SB since you get a small army, and you don't need the walls knocked down. BUT creativity has its merits and is certainly rewarded. If you have a HUGE threat area, or your funnel needs a nudge it is possible to use a battle blimp with a yeti inside and rage it (also called a yeti bomb). This will DEVASTATE a compartment. This could be an island multi inferno, a compartment with a multi and bomb tower, or even a section of the base you need destroyed for your funnel. Also the stone slammer is incredibly useful as it can be used to force those hogs to stay in with the miners if pathing seems to be a problem. The SS can also destroy a multi with great ease, so long as you can path to it. Creativity is commonly rewarded.

    Notice in the third markup the funnel is reeeeally wide at the start and then thins out. That can be a real problem. To remedy this you could use extra funnel troops or even simply look at a different strategy, but you would have to get creative with thinning that funnel.

    [MISC] purposely dropped trophies from master 1 to gold 1 and this guy did a revenge attack on me, but since my trophies were now so much lower he gained 0 from a 3 star attack

    How much faster does it take the collectors to get Resources? (Also how how long/many if you used one on th9 collectors, to fill up.)
