    So you think you want to be a reddit mod?

    "You're right! It's the most rewarding job there is!" said the lying moderators

    Seriously, what is this?

    There are a lot of fun things about being a reddit mod! And there's a lot of non-fun things too. Subreddit mods do a large number of things around here. Some of these include: making the contests and banners, doing upkeep on the sidebar and stickies, answering user questions and replying to modmail, moderating posts and comments, upholding the rules, breaking up fights, creating and curating good content, finding stuff relevant to the game to feature, and also our own fair share of shitposting! No one has to do all of these things, but you must be interested in doing at least some of them if you want the job!

    It's not all sunshine and rainbows, but it really is a nice gig. Helping other users navigate the sub, cleaning out the spam, and safeguarding the community are all their own reward (which needs to be said explicitly because some crazies out there think this is a paid position).

    Great! Here's what it takes to apply.

    We need people who have good judgement, something to contribute, and most importantly...use reddit!

    You must have an account that is at least a month old with at least some public comments and posts on r/ClashofClans. You must be at least age 16 (by the way we see some nasty language at times). You must be active on reddit and willing to stay active if you are made a moderator. You must actually play Clash of Clans. You must also be willing to use discord. Because while our work is here on Reddit, discord is where we chat amongst ourselves to make decisions and plan and call each other out.

    So, how is this going to work?

    1. Fill out the form. You should treat this as a real application. (Though moderators do not get paid.) It is not short and there are essay questions. You may wish to save your answers in a word document and take some time with them.
    2. Wait to be contacted. You should be contacted once your application is received. You will then be declined, accepted, or told that you're moving onto the next round by no later than Nov 22.
    3. If accepted, you will undergo a trial by fire a trial period as a moderator of the subreddit where you will get to begin performing moderation duties on the subreddit as soon as you get the invite. If that goes well, you'll be asked to stay! If there are concerns about your actions or activities, we will thank you for your service, but end the trial.

    Applications will close on 11:59PM, November 8, 2020.

    Apps will be open until then. Once you apply you can expect to hear back from us during the following two weeks, ending Nov 22.

    [GOAL] I know it won’t be a great deal for many but I started playing COC again after 4 years, and I reached Master! My old clan doesn’t even recognise me which is quite obvious but I made it without any clan or TH9 maxed troops and got those sweet 1000 gems! Yay! :)

    Damage Per Second: 0

    Hitpoints: 600

    Training Cost: 30,000 elixir

    Training Time: 3 minutes

    Speed: 12

    Housing space: 30

    Favorite target: Map Center

    Special ability: "Hold the Line" Aura 75% of rage radius. All troops within the Drummer Boy's aura stay within the aura range until Drummer Boy dies. They also receive 25% reduced splash damage within the aura. When reaching the center, Drummer Boy puts down his drum and becomes a barbarian.

    Rationale: This troop can provide a strong funnel for extended duration within the base, which is quite powerful especially against ring bases. The drawbacks are the 0 dps, housing space (which does prevent spring traps), and relative low hp (but takes full advantage of warden aura).
