    [Idea] Upgrading heroes / heroes recharging shouldn't make them unplayable during FC

    In light of the most recent update, while I am very grateful to be able to edit my army at will to attack my friends it has 2 distinct drawbacks:

    1. You need to request a CC, something which you would also want to experiment with.
    2. If your heroes are recharging, you can't legitimately attack your friends, nor can you if your heroes are upgrading.

    Supercell has recognized that FC is not the same as an actual attack - you don't lose any troops, and you don't have to train them. FCs are for improving.

    If my heroes are going to be perpetually down for the next 2 months or so while I upgrade, it doesn't seem logical that I can't practice attacking and getting better in friendly challenges. I already think that upgrading heroes is the least amount of fun I have while playing the game, but all I would want is to be able to use them in friendly challenges so I can learn different attack strategies and improve up until they're finally maxed.

    And to the point of the CC, I shouldn't have to request troops from clanmates - who might not have certain super troops active at the moment I'm on, but I still want to test out how the CC works (Super Barbarians, I'm looking at you).

    Supercell won't lose any money from allowing you to use heroes that are down and editing your own CC - if anything, when you find the strategies that work well for you, you're more likely to gem to get your heroes up. This is a win/win that I'm sad isn't implemented.
