    With the first major update of the year coming in the Spring of 2020, we wanted to get a head start and share some of the content you can expect when the update is released. While the update will have some exciting super new content, we are also going to be releasing a lot of Quality of Life (QoL) improvements based on collated feedback from the Clash Community.

    Many of these QoL improvements will be shared over the coming preview period, but we felt the changes mentioned below were big enough to merit its own separate announcement.

    Check out these upcoming changes to the Builder Base that are scheduled to be released in the Spring 2020 update!

    • Tiebreakers - Builder Base will now have an additional tiebreaker. If both Stars and % Destruction are equal and the % Destruction is above 0%, the player with more time left will be crowned as the winner.
    • Troop Training Times - We have removed training times from Troops in Builder Base. All training will now happen immediately. Yes you read that right...IMMEDIATELY!
    • Barrack Upgrades - Troops will now be able to be trained even while the Barracks are being upgraded.
    • Battle Machine Healing - Battle Machine healing time has been removed.
    • Clock Tower Changes - With training times for Troops and healing time for Battle Machine removed, the Clock Tower will now focus more on boosting building and resource generation:
      • Clock Tower multiplier has been increased from 8x to 10x.
      • Clock Tower boost duration has been increased from 3-11 minutes to 14-30 minutes.
      • Clock Tower boost cooldown time has been increased from 7 hours to 22 hours.
      • The Gem cost to refresh the Clock Tower cooldown has been reduced.

    We'll share more details as we get closer to the update. Until then, Clash on!

    [IDEA] Ability To Pick Defense CC For Friendly Challenges

    So one of the best things that Supercell has added to the game is the ability to offer a friendly challenge! We use them for a couple of reasons, whether its just for fun, practicing attacks, or seeing how your new base holds up against attacks!

    That brings me to the main point of this post. I think it would be a really cool feature to be able to choose what defensive cc you want to have when issuing a friendly challenge. Because often times, the base you create is best with a specific CC and you don't want to have to create that CC when issuing friendly challenges because it isn't a farming/war CC. It could even be that you want to test different CCs with a certain base.

    What are your thoughts?
