    Hello Reddit Clashers! It's time for an Open Recruitment Thread. All clans, RCS or not are welcome to recruit within this post. This is the only place recruiting is allowed on this subreddit. Just a reminder though, you are welcome to recruit at any time at r/ClashofClansRecruit (max one post per clan per week). You can also view all Verified Reddit Clans on this page. Additional tips on recruiting can be found here. There's also a recruiting channel in our partnered discord!

    Clan Recruitment Tool Improvements (December Update)

    Hey Chief!

    As you might know by now, we are preparing for the big December Update...

    But on a different topic - we've been reading your feedback regarding the latest changes to the Clan Recruitment Tool, and we wanted to let you know we'll be making a few additional improvements to its functionality.

    The "behind the scenes" of the Recruitment Tool is powered by a complex machine-learning system that learns from player behavior and adjusts the algorithm accordingly. In the next update, we'll continue our ongoing efforts to improve the Player <-> Clan country and language matching.

    On the user-end, we'll be making some additional player-facing improvements as well:

    • Added Clan badges to the "Find new members" list"
    • "View Clan" button on invitations from Clan;
    • Add a minimum Town Hall level requirement to Clan Settings;
    • Display an "Are you still looking?" prompt for players who haven't accepted join requests for a while, and will toggle recruitment status to "Off" if the player selects "No";
    • Prompt players to toggle their recruitment status setting to "On" when searching for a Clan.

    These changes in particular will go live in the December update, but we are constantly monitoring the recruitment tool to determine where we can add additional improvements, and it will be an ongoing endeavour.

    [IDEA] I feel that gearing up a building should give more of an advantage. Most players that have the gear up just stick with the regular. If Supercell made it more beneficial, then builder base would be even more useful and players would actually use the gear ups and diversify the defences.

    I'm a long ways away from getting Otto, I'm only builder hall 7, but I'd like to rush to get Otto in the best possible way. Are there certain defenses I should be upgrading so I can still win battles? Any troops besides cannon carts I should upgrade? Like I said before, my builder hall is 7 and all my defenses and troops are builder hall 6 level, so I know I'm really far away, I just want to start rushing from here.
