    I've seen a lot of people complain about how the pet upgrades aren't good for the direction of the game, how they take too long and/or too much DE. Even hearing people say they'll quit the game after they reach Max TH13, but this just seems so silly to me.

    Grinding is literally part of the game, in fact I'll go one step further, the entirety of this game is a complete grind. I refuse to believe anyone spends who knows however many years on this game just plays for the sole accomplishment of reaching the end. You play this game because you ENJOY THE GRIND, you enjoy farming up resources and completing your own milestones whether it's reaching TH10, getting a 6th builder, or having a max hero you know you won't need to upgrade for a while. That feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment when you reach a goal. And the pets will be no different; when they're all max level I'm sure it's going to be a wonderful feeling.

    The journey is the most important part friends, and if you're willing to complain about getting 40 levels of pets so you'll stay at TH13 for example, you need to realise that you would have already done 225 levels of heroes. 150+ levels of Archer Towers. So much more. You've gone this far because you enjoyed the grind, but if that stops, then don't play. But at least in my opinion, the pets are a great idea, and the upgrade time/costs are fair, challenging, but fair.
