    Account Phishing and Recovery: Frequently asked questions.

    Q) Someone hacked my account? OR Why am I getting a message that my Supercell ID has expired?

    A: Your account was probably phished, meaning someone else claimed your account to be theirs. Contact the in-game support from a new Town hall 3 account and answer the questions that they ask. They will give back your account by reconnecting it to a new SCID.

    Q) Someone else seems to be playing my account?

    A: If you are suspicious that someone else is using your account, report it to in-game support immediately. They will lock your account. Once its locked, you would have to prove your ownership of the account by answering the questions that they ask.

    Q) Why a Town hall 3 account?

    A: If you fail to answer their questions correctly/don't know the answer to one or more of their questions/they are not satisfied with your answers, they will think that you are trying to steal the account and ban the account that you are contacting them from, for account phishing. You don't want that happening on a high level account of yours.

    Q) What are some of the questions they may ask?

    A: Account name, account tag, clan name, Town hall level, Account creation date, last played date, previous name of the account, names and number of devices you played the account on, the location where the account was created and receipts of purchases made on the account(if any).

    Q) Can't access human support. A bot is responding to me and closing the conversation?

    A: You are probably F2P. Sadly, Supercell provides only bot support for F2P players. There is a solution for this, tho. Change the game language to either Suomi/Portuguese and contact in-game support. Answer the primary questions(account name, tag etc) using a translator. You will be redirected to human support.

    Q) The phished account was the leader of a clan. The phisher kicked out all the members and left the clan members and left the clan themself. Can the clan be recovered?

    A: Yes, there have been a few cases where support has restored phished clans to their rightful owners. These are rare tho. Again, try talking to support about it.

    Q) Is there a way to prevent account phishing?

    A: Sadly, nope. The best you can currently do is to hope that your account doesn't get phished.
