[NEWS] Changes to Super Troops in the December Update

We're pretty excited to share some upcoming changes to Super Troops that will be coming in the December 2020 Update. So excited that we're creating an extra special sneak peek way in advance! With the December content update, we are going to implement the following changes to how Super Troops function:

You will be able to boost TWO Super Troops at the same time! Want to try that Super Witch + Super Wall Breaker combo? Now you can! You are no longer limited to boosting a single Super Troop at a time nor do you need to rely on Clan Castle donations for that second Super Troop!
You can now also train the normal version of a boosted Super Troop even while their Super Troop version is active. For example, if you have Super Giants boosted, you can still train normal Giants as well. Just imagine the new combinations you'll be able to test out! We can't wait to see how this will affect the meta landscape!
We've heard your voices regarding the duration of the Super Troop boost. With the December update, Super Troop boosts are now only 3 days long and all Super Troop boosts will cost 25,000 Dark Elixir. Super Troops will no longer be 7 days in duration, allowing you to much more quickly change which Super Troops you would like to use!
Finally, we are introducing a brand new Magic Item: The Super Potion. The Super Potion will grant you a 3-day boost for a single Super Troop. The Super Potion functions just like if you had spent the 25,000 Dark Elixir and will boost a single Super Troop for the full 3-day duration. The Super Potion will be available as a reward from Clan Games and will also be sold by the Trader for 300 Gems.

One additional thing to note is that if you've activated a Super Troop boost before the update is released, you will still get the full 7-day boost duration. So don't worry, you won't be short-changed after you've activated the boost.
