    Hello Reddit Clashers! It's time for an Open Recruitment Thread. All clans, RCS or not are welcome to recruit within this post. This is the only place recruiting is allowed on this subreddit.     [IDEA] clash should allow us to remove a certain percentage of the treasury in the cc, like i just need 20k gold but i HAVE to take out 600,000 gold, 800,000 elixir and 9000DE, i do realise how picky and entitled i sound, but its just an opinion....

    At first you may think this is a bad idea, but it really isn't. The fact is, more accounts are successfully recovered by people who didn't even own them than people who did.

    If you find an account with a 2012 Xmas tree that isn't maxed, I would say theres a 99% chance it has been "phished" (stolen). This means that players are rewarded for trying to steal.

    Also, I know many players who have tried to recover THEIR OWN ACCOUNTS through supercell only for them to ban both accounts.

    This means that LEGITIMATE PLAYERS ARE BEING PUNISHED WHILE PHISHERS AND ACCOUNT THIEVES ARE BEING REWARDED

    I propose that we remove the feature to recover accounts. Let's face it, if someone has an account that they genuinely care about, they would connect it to supercell ID. Then all they need to do is remember the password to their email, which is easy.

    If you go on Instagram and look at low level pushers, you will be able to find someone who's account has been stolen. The TH3 trophy record? Stolen and upgraded to th4. The only ever TH2 to reach Titan league? His account was stolen and upgraded to th8. The former th5 trophy record holder? He's th8 now because someone stole his account.

    I play the game knowing that there is a large group of phishers who would steal my accounts. They've stolen and banned accounts belonging to my friends.

    Just this morning even, one of my friends had his th7 (in legend league) phished. He then tried to recover it and was banned for "selling accounts". The basis behind this claim? Someone had logged in from another country. Who was this someone? The guy who stole the account. That's right. Someone took advantage of the account recovery system to break into my friend's account, and then the legitimate owner had all of his hard work deleted because of it.

    I'll put it into real-life terms. Imagine living in a house which you've worked hard to pay for and maintain. One day, a criminal breaks into your house, so you report the crime to the police. Then, the police say that you are the one who broke into the house and punish you, meanwhile the actual thief gets to live in your nice fancy house which he didn't even pay for. That is what the account recovery system is like.

    I understand that I have said a lot here, but it's because I would feel so much happier if I could play the game well without risking my account being stolen. I thank you for reading.
