    Clan Recruitment Tool Improvements (December Update)

    Hey Chief!

    As you might know by now, we are preparing for the big December Update...

    But on a different topic - we've been reading your feedback regarding the latest changes to the Clan Recruitment Tool, and we wanted to let you know we'll be making a few additional improvements to its functionality.

    The "behind the scenes" of the Recruitment Tool is powered by a complex machine-learning system that learns from player behavior and adjusts the algorithm accordingly. In the next update, we'll continue our ongoing efforts to improve the Player <-> Clan country and language matching.

    On the user-end, we'll be making some additional player-facing improvements as well:

    • Added Clan badges to the "Find new members" list"
    • "View Clan" button on invitations from Clan;
    • Add a minimum Town Hall level requirement to Clan Settings;
    • Display an "Are you still looking?" prompt for players who haven't accepted join requests for a while, and will toggle recruitment status to "Off" if the player selects "No";
    • Prompt players to toggle their recruitment status setting to "On" when searching for a Clan.

    These changes in particular will go live in the December update, but we are constantly monitoring the recruitment tool to determine where we can add additional improvements, and it will be an ongoing endeavour.

    Just seems too perfect of a choice for the gold pass skin to be the Grand Warden with the color scheme/design of Santa Clause.

    [IDEA] How to fix the Battle Machine

    Here is my idea for a simple and quick fix for the BM's walking into crushers and doing other things that we don't like. Make it so that when he uses his ability he changes his target to the nearest thing at this new point. This will make it so that the mazes that people build to destroy him will be much less effective and much less annoying. If you have his ability on cooldown then when he starts moving towards that crusher that is behind many walls and with defences clearly on the path he is going to take. Then you can use said ability to make him reassess his target and he will find the closest thing at the time the ability was pushed and then crush it. This means that if he is walking past a double cannon that will hurt him for the entirety of his march to crusher death then he will start attacking said double cannon or an army camp if that is closer which means timing is everything.

    Pros: It will stop him from dying pointlessly, it will make the community happy because there is finally something you can do to stop needless BM deaths, it wouldn't require any more information to be stored in the replays because as it is rebuilding the battle it would just say retarget when ability is pressed and wouldn't require any more data points to be saved, it would raise the skill ceiling of the Builder Base, and finally it would give the player more of a feeling of being in control of their attack.

    Cons: It would require more thought to be put into when you use his ability, you could no longer use his ability on cooldown for fear of him going the wrong way, and you could miss-time it thus making your attack go worse than it would have.

    Tell me if you have any other pros or cons or if you found a problem I would like some constructive criticism.

    P.S. For those who haven't thought of this, this could help you with your BM walking into crushers. Sometimes it is better to save your ability when your BM is getting close to a crusher. It can be worth it to wait a few seconds to use it and then use it after he starts targeting the crusher but before he gets there so he will then only take 1 or 2 hits from it and be able to destroy it if he has enough health.

    [RANT] Walls in builder base cost too much.

    Ok I get it. We're able to upgrade 5 at a time and that means they need to cost more but hear me out. They need to add the option to upgrade them individually because by the time I save up enough gold for a set of walls, I have nothing to do with the elixir that also accumulates. By the time I'm upgrading walls, my bh and all buildings are maxed and all troops are upgraded. I realize this isn't an issue once u unlock Battle Machine but for bh3 & 4 this is. Also I've cleared all my obstacles so there's that.
